What My Courses shows you
My Courses is your own list: every course you are on, and how far through each one you are. It is reached from the menu under your name, top right.
What each row tells you
- The course name, which takes you to it.
- How far through you are — 6 of 22 lessons — counted across the whole course.
- Whether anything is waiting on you.
Choosing a course takes you to its outline, where you can carry on from wherever you stopped.
If a course is missing
You are on a different site
A course belongs to the site it was made on, and My Courses only shows the courses on the site you are looking at. If your organisation has more than one address, check the other one.
You were never actually enrolled
Being told about a course is not the same as being on it. If somebody said they had added you, ask them to check the register — see The register, which is the screen they would use.
You were withdrawn
Somebody can take you off a course. Your work is kept, so being added back restores everything — but while you are off it, the course does not appear here.
You are staff on it, not a student
If you are the instructor, an assistant or a contributor on a course, it is not something you are taking — so it is not in your list of courses to take. You reach it from the course list instead.
Courses that are not finished
A course stays in your list whether you have finished it or not. There is nothing to archive and nothing to tidy: the list is what you are on, and it shrinks only when somebody withdraws you.
