Need to create a new copy of your course for a new group of instructors or students? Very simple:
- If you have the ability to create a course for your organization, go to the All Courses page.
- Click on the Create a Course button and select Copy a Course from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your new course name and select the course you would like to copy. Click Submit.
- The course you selected will now be copied and you will be taken to the screen where you can edit the course.
There are a couple of things to keep in mind when copying a course:
First, none of your enrollments or results from the previous course will be copied. Only the course content including the units, unit pages, and page elements, along with the settings for the course will be copied.
These courses are now separated. If you make a change to one of the courses, including the content or the course settings, those changes do not propagate to the other course.
